Actually, none. I went looking for a parts car for the Impala and found a '66 Biscayne that was in WAAAAAY better shape, so I bought it and I'll be working on it instead.

I'll probably be looking to dump the Impala, cheap! If you or you know someone who might be interested, contact me. It's rough, but I have the title.

So how much progress have you made on your car? It looks pretty solid!

So with the progress mad on the Biscayne. I think it would be in my best interest to start looking at planning a day for the separation of the body from the chassis. This will happen far sooner than I expected and that makes me smile.

I'm thinking that I should be ready sometime around April 1 or so. If anyone thinks that they'd be, A) available and B0 willing, let me know what weekend would work out the best and I'll start planning now.

Well, looks like I have my work cut out for me. I got the interior cleaned out this afternoon. I removed the front seat, pulled out all the extra crap and went at it with the ShopVac. I knew I had a fair amount of rust to deal with but after cleaning it out, I really think there is less than I first thought. I do know that I'll be replacing probably all the floor bracing. Here are photos of the post-clean-out.

My son Josh came over yesterday morning and he and I hung the insulation on the one wall, so that's done. After he left, I put up four 94" long bats into the rafters; which was enough to make me realize this is definitely a two-person job.

So, this Sunday we're going to tackle the rest of the insulation and the dry wall.

Once this is done, the fun commences.

I have a couple photos of the garage before the insulation went up. I'll post later.

Hopefully this weekend or next at the latest, I'll be getting the garage insulated and some dry wall hung. I just got the electric heater running, so I gotta get things sealed up.

Look for photos of the dismantling soon.

In case you've missed any of my previous posts about the Biscayne, here's what I'm starting with -
