BA. I like Bills tip.
I had to disconnect my exhaust on one side on mine. (aftermarket tranny and a 'Vert, so mounts slightly different)

62BillT Carefully raise up the Trans, enough for it to slip out. May want to dis-connect the Trans Rod first.

66 crossmember swap

I'm trying to replace the crossmember that goes underneath transmission, it's all rotted. I got the bolts out but I can't get it out. The supports in the rocker panels support the bottom and have it cradled while it is supported from the top in the middle. How do I wiggle it out?
