justjohn CPP spindles are most compatible with aftermarket brakes if you think you might be going that route.

68WASAGOODYEAR Get 2" drop spindles and leave the stock steering geometry alone, including the springs.

Suspension rebuild

I am in the process of rebuilding my 66 from ground up. I am reusing my stock front control arms but want to do a 2”drop. I have found alot of info but also conflicting. What parts do i need to reuse stock control arms ? Drop spindle only or combo of drop spindles and drop spring ? Stock height spring. Offset upper control arm bar ?? I dont have much knowledge on steering geometry. Just want to order the correct parts without changing control arms. Thanks
