masterjohnson Hi guys i hope no one gets mad i was also looking for guide for painless wiring until i landed on this page look carefully on the post reply of Big Dave here is the link going to that thread

ping2lo that's awesome! i actually had to come back to this thread just now to verify which terminal i needed to connect the red wire to from my MSD box (commonly labeled "FROM IGNITION KEY" in 6AL diagrams)

Stomper714 thanks for the thread helped me out, turns out I had the ground & Nuetral switch wires Crossed. I was having issues I even posted a thread problem fixed Thanks guys

ping2lo thanks Julian! i kinda wondered what the black and pink wire went to under the dash. the electrical diagram didn't make too much sense as it just dissappeaded at some printed circuit board in the diagram. thanks again!!

Ground - 18 ga. Dark Green wire to temp sending unit (goes to ground when hot) and to temp gauge or light
IGN SW Accy - 18 ga. Black wire and Brown/White wire from Fuse block and ALT sense wire
SOL - 12 ga. Purple wire to Neutral Safety Switch then to starter
BATT - 12 ga. to Cigar Lighter, Head light switch, fuse block, Horn relay and Battery 12v+
IGN SW IGN - 18 ga. Blk/Pink (switched) fuse block, Coil and going to all the POS side of the Dash indicator lights ie, OIL, TEMP light or Gauge, GEN or ALT light, Pos 12V+ for Gas Gauge.

Painless

GROUND - not used
IGN SW ACCY - Brown wire 12.ga. #932 Origin from fuse block
SOL - Purple wire 12.ga. #919 Origin from starter
BATT - Red wire 12 ga. #934 Origin from fuse block
IGN SW IGN - Pink wire 14 ga. #931 Origin from fuse block (MSD 6AL ignition.)

1965 ignition wiring for painless

Just trying to save myself some troubleshootin later...does this look right? I'm installing a painless 30003 fuseblock & using an 6AL ignition.
