Locations for drilling:

I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of the 1966 Assembly Manual. It is readily available on-line or from many dealers. I would not even begin a project if your are concerned about originality unless I had that manual.

I promise, you will be very happy and it's a wealth of information including what you are asking for.

SS emblem and rear antenna location

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of preparing my 66 impala SS for paint. However, the front fenders form the car are not from an SS model. Does anyone know where I could find the measurements/location for drilling the holes on the front fenders for the Super Sport emblem? Also, I'm not sure if my rear antenna is factory equipment or somebody's modification. Where would I find measurements for that also? Thanks so much for any help!!!
