Jayz63 Yeah I’ve been able to do my homework on he car and was able to decipher all the codes on my tag. I almost went through the vin service but it doesn’t mean much to me Thank you.

Jayz63 Sorry once more after I looked at your tags you do have a code b70 your missing the part of the tag that says BSO.

Jayz63 The very bottom of the cowl tag is BSO body service options not b70

Jayz63 I have a 63 impala convertible from Canada and my vin tag has the same rivets as that 64. A 64 impalas vin would start with a 4, 63 starts with a 3 and so on.

Looking to buy 64 Impala!!

Hey Guys new to the site I am looking to buy a 64 Impala but am trying to do my homework first. I was told this is a Canadian made Impala but the Vin doesn't start with a 5

VIN # G.M. Canada
41847075848

And the Cowl Tag is as follows

STYLE 1847 1-5-20
BODY NO. 175373
PAINT 2F
TRIM 842
B7OU63

Cant seem to find the paint details or option details any help would be appreciated. I want to make sure of what I am buying before I do. Also it says this is an 8 cylinder car I believe but how do you tell which type of 8 was originally put in.

Thanks in advance for your help. Steve
