My name is Brian and I recently purchased a 1968 Impala SS fastback. Exterior wise the car is pretty nice. Needs some suspension help and a
new LS Turbo motor.

I live in Vermont and have 2 other muscle cars. 1970 Chevelle and 1986 Buick Grand National.

Welcome to the Team Brian!

LS is easy to do with the transplant kits available. Turbo is going to be a different proposition. If you are thinking of a high horse high boost motor it goes without saying to build a motor just for the level of boost you are planning on building. The key word is planning.

Welcome Brian. As you probably know we love pictures.

I also support pictures! Not a fan of turbos myself but I am certainly keen to see what you do!

I saw a blurb on the California Emissions Board in passing (just caught the headline didn't read the article) about requiring Cats and AIR pumps and all of the rest of the silliness found on a modern LS-x motor even if it is being put into a "tin lizzy". Don't know how that will affect you as there are about seven other states that Monkey see Monkey do to rubber stamp anything CA does.

I've attached a picture of the 1968 Impala SS fastback that I just purchased.

Bucket seats, horseshoe shifter in center console, Turbo 400, 10 bolt.

I started poking around with the motor and found out it's been built with some cool parts.
383 with Brodix heads, Holley 650 double pumper, etc.
