You don't put a filter in between tank and pump on carbed cars. The in tank sock takes care of that, then you run a filter between the pump and carb. Either the stock in-carb filter, or, an inline....

Nope. T56 has the same 27 spline output shaft. I actually have one in my 96 Impala SS, the stock 27 spline shaft from the 4L60E slides right in. Viper T56 is 30 spline. TH400 is 32 spline......
