Thank you, Ape! I think is the best way to go, I needed to convert to R134 anyway. $75 a can R12 is too much for me!

Not sure if this helps any, but my 1966 Impala Sport 4-door hardtop has the 2-speed wiper option. I would think that the SS would have that, too ~ but am not sure.
