I use a product from 3M called strip caulk ( dum-dum for us old timers). Its black in color and used for same purpose as the factory grey. Don't know if the grey is still available.

No they were never made, thought a "one of one" and atheistically would be an interesting back story. So far I'm getting 50/50 on this. Have a chance on acquiring a pair of doors and 1/4 glass....

Most mid length headers have primaries longer that 18", coupled with a low hp. 402 and possible vehicle drop, sounds like a 3/4" intermediate coated header is best overall for my app. Thanks Dave.

As for the two rocker's, I thought so that I had to pull lifter's. Hopefully I can pull those 2 from the head and save some gaskets LOL....
