History
This was my first car. I purchased it at age 15 spring of 71. I was the second owner. Long story short I sold it to a salvage yard in 81. drivetrain was donated to another project. Of course that was stupid. so just recently the son of the salvage yard owner called me for some contractor work. after the job was finished I asked if he had any 65 Impalas on the yard. he said one. I asked to look at it and he took me back. on the way I started describing the car and what we would find if it were mine. sure as the world after 39 years my old car was there. everything I told him panned out. I left with a few pieces and have been back for more. Its rough and really beyond restoring. floor and trunk pan are gone.So anyway I would like to "restore" the dash and get the lights to working. I have the back seat and other pieces. I may try to just the whole car though I know I cant get a title. so I have the one good picture. Ill post what she looks like now. its sad really.
