Hey Guys,
I am from Germany and my dream is to drive a 1967 Chevrolet Impala. It's insanely hard to find a 4door Hardtop, especially in Germany , so I hope the forum can help me out and maybe someone wants to sell his Impala :)
Thank you very much
I finished putting together the 10 bolt 8.2 differential on my 67 Impala but didnt notice until today while putting on the new parking brake cable/brakes that my axles are not rolling together. One spins opposite of the other. Ive tried looking up reasons why this is but google keeps dodging the...
As Im starting to reinstall the guts to my rear differential, Im reviewing my service manual for my 67 and notice a tool called "Companion Flange Remover J-8614" being listed. I've checked tool shops but dont see this tool. Does anyone know where to locate it?

One is an air conditioning car, the other is not. The vehicle that is not an air conditioning car is running, driving, functioning in full. The AC car is not.
My question that I would like some thoughts on: I fully...
Hi there I came across a guy parting out his 66 396 A/C Caprice in town and he has the motor already sold :clonk: but he is selling the 12 bolt non posi rear end for $150 and the entire A/C system for $250. I have a 1967 Impala 4D factory A/C but gutted no compressor no lines and the condenser...
Hey gang,

1. Can someone out there take a picture of their 67 convertible internal mirror bracket and send it to me? The 'correct' one I ordered doesn't seem to fit and I'm wondering if it's the part or something the previous owner did to my car.
2. Does anyone know the correct spacing and offset I...
Alright so I got a '67 SS 327 Convertible, no records but it's rust free and runs great. So far I've updated the suspension, replaced the alternator, radiator, and done some basic stuff like distributor cap, spark plug wires, etc. The engine is slowly burning oil, about a quart every 3 months...

I found a 67 140mph COPO speedometer that probably came off a biscayne and I am probably going to buy the speedometer to put in my impala, the problem is that the face has a bit of rust, is there any way to take it off without damaging the numbers and markings?
We're giving my 67 a frame off restoration and we're going to reassemble soon. Can anyone tell me what items were plated with what? I want her to look original and we have a friend that does plating. Thanks in advance!
I inherited a 1967 4-door hardtop Impala from my late great-uncle, and I was thinking about doing a stock rebuild. This is my first ever classic muscle car, and dont have the deep pockets needed for a high performance restoration. It has the 327 cid/ powerglide combination, but I was thinking...

Will either motor bolt straight up or will I have to rearrange everything under the hood?
Will I have to make any...
Hey everybody! One of the lights behind my dashboard went out on the 67, how do I go about changing it? It looked behind the dash and it didn't look there was anything I could just unplug and go. Thanks!
