I am unable to attach my Panhard bar. It looks to me like the rear end needs to move over about a half inch. I have the upper and lower control arms and shocks bolted in. Do I loosen the bolts on the control arms and just pull the rear end with a floor jack? Or will a hotchkis adjustable Panhard bar make things easier?

Not sure of the difference between a 64 and 61 but on my 64 I had the same problem so I unbolted the bottom of the shocks and then I could just push the body over a little bit to make it work. I never took the control arms off mine but with the shocks unbolted the body could be moved back and forth so I figured it just needed to be helped back to where it belonged. Then every thing whent fine.

Just have to persuade it to fit. As the rear moves up and down it swings in an arc moving first to the passenger side and then back to the driver side before returning to the drivers side as the rear end is moved through it's full deflection.

Well I finally got it installed.
Just jacked from the lower control arm and it slid right into place.
Now what am I going to worry about?
