Can someone help me decode this cowl and vin. I want to buy a 64 Chevy SS Impala but can't decipher all of these codes. Please help and thanks. All I can figure Gold yellow, and Feb 4th week.

First of all, this is not the exact tag that should be on the door jam, but if the numbers are close to the proper tag, I can tell you that the numbers indicate that it is a 64 Impala SS V8, and also indicates that it is a 2door hardtop. The person that told you about the rivits is absolutely correct. They are definitely not the factory rivits, and it does send the potential for multiple red flags. Be VERY careful! I hope this helps you. Best of luck!
