Still wondering

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the options. We did find the cruise control components in the boxes that came with the car, but I understand that may have only been a dealer option?.

Well I could post what I read in my decode books but then we have two members that love to tell me how wrong I am so I don't do that any more. I will let them type it in every time someone asks.

Tinted windshield, air, powerglide, C&C group (not certain), rear antenna, rear seat speaker, padded dash, deluxe belts with retractors.

Is your vin (letter and last six) stamped on the engine pad?

Tell me if I'm dreaming!!

I recently came.across a 65 Impala SS that had a 409 badge on the fenders. The trim tag reads as follows. 11B for the time built code,ST 65 for modle year,16637,LOS,3369,TR 802-,BODY PAINT P-P or D-P,then the accessory codes read as follows,EX 2K MSN 3C 4F. Can you help break the code. Thanks.

Hi Jim, what's the vin for the car?
11B body built 2nd week of November (well within time frame for a 409 car)
65-16637 Impala SS coupe
LOS 3369 3,369th SS coupe body built at the Los Angeles plant
802 is ivory bucket seat interior
P-P is Evening Orchid
options are: tinted glass, power windows, air, powerglide trans, rear antenna, stereo, padded dash, C&C group type B.

Does the car currently have a 409 in it?

Welcome to the The Team Chuck!

Paint and interior information is on the trim tag riveted to the fire wall. It doesn't appear in the VIN.
