there are no special frames for the SS models. the only frame is 1965-1966 Impala non-convertible frame

How about aftermarket frames with all the modern bells and whistles? Anyone have any experience using those? Will the body just bolt up to those or do you need major modifications to make it work? Something like this from Scott’s.

Those Scott's frames look like the business to me. If you've got the coin then there's obviously no comparison from a secondhand 57 year old GM original frame. They custom make to order, so everything will just bolt on.
