I’m familiar with the number/letter coding for month and year but mine has what looks to be 918. Anyone have insight on how to translate this? Thanks in advance!

Hi, thanks. I’ll try this but otherwise I’ll have to wait until I get home for a better picture. I’m pretty sure about “918” being the code though. It’s right above the year/body type where you’d usually see the build date. At least from the ones I’ve seen.

Another one. It’s clearly 918 which doesn’t make sense to me. It’s driving me nuts.

Looks like a 918 to me as well. That said I can not offer any info as It is beyond what I have seen.

These tags were typed by women in the Steno pool. She may have typed that while being distracted and left it just to get it off her desk.

Thanks, I was kind figuring that at this point. I did read that on rare occasions the week was represented by a number but this one doesn’t really fit that type of pattern either. Thanks again!
