Hi... Does anyone have any instructions (a link or self-typed is fine) on how to replace the stock radio on my 67 Impala, 4 dr, hardtop? What would be the easiest way? I'm not sure whether I need to remove the dash (if so, how??) or if I can simply go from underneath and do it that way. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

No dash removal; just the grounding screw under the dash on a brace and the knobs pull off with with the nuts securing the radio beneath them. Recommend buying a photocopy on CD of the Chevrolet Service manual or a Chilton's/Hayes manual for your year of vehicle.

Thanks, Dave. Would you be able to tell me where exactly the grounding screw is located (under which part of the dash)? I looked on Chilton's/Haynes site and couldn't find the manual for my car, so I e-mailed them. Also, do you have a link to the service manual or know of a site that I could buy it from? My engine has been rebuilt, however I'd like to play around with the interior myself (change panels, replace dash, fix window regulators, etc...).

Thanks again!

Here is a Chassis Service Manual (actual paper original) quiet rare and at a good price I think.

The Repair service manual which is a typical photocopy of the original paper manual scanned onto a CD.

Another rare paper manual this time the assembly manual:

And a final rare gem the original Body By Fisher Repair manual:

Since I have posted this you will now be in a race to buy these before some other 1967 Impala owner sees it and beats you to them. Good Luck.
