Hey guys lets have our own forum for just 1971-1976 Impalas and Caprices and everything related to them including projects, pics and parts
I took those off because they were from a 73 Impala, the car now has a set of 74 Caprice hubs. Thanks thoI believe I have a set of those hubcaps that are on that black car. Let me know if you want me to look for them.
Yea finding parts for 71-76s is very hard to do, that's y I hoard lolThe only series of Impalas that has fewer members on this board than the 1971-'76 cars are the 1977-'90 Impala owners. They are out there but I don't don't see a lot of activity from them as far as posts go. The vast majority of members on this board own early sixties Impalas; with most owning cars being made between 1962 and 1968.
For some strange reason that is what the reproduction industry is just starting to pay attention to as the number of requests from those needing parts have started to attract their attention.
The 1994-'96 Impala SS cars have their own boards and they rarely drop in here. Even though the 1991-'96 model run was the last gasp for rear wheel drive cars thanks to CAFE restrictions. All cars made from 1977-'96 shared the same suspension and only the sheet metal parts where changed as this series of Impalas saw the last of the original SBC motors, and the introduction of the SBC II motor and the new LS-x series of motors. It also was the series of cars that saw the return to power numbers last seen in the late sixties as computers were finally used to make power instead of just lower emissions.

 I have that header panel and those other trim pieces ready for u tooI haven't made it to the gas station yet. lol Still needs a few things before I can officially make it a daily. Working on it though.
the parts are very hard to sell, as well, have a pair of 71-76 doors, including a spirit of america with sport mirror, a few fenders, and a 71 four door parts car that have been sitting in the classifieds for several years now. the yard here had several cleaner examples, including a pair of two doors, but seemed to be in a great hurry to crush them then for the weight.Yea finding parts for 71-76s is very hard to do, that's y I hoard lol
I have parted out a half dozen of these cars and some parts are easy to sell while others are tough. It also depends on what your prices look like. Do you have any inner fenders? Are you willing to ship them?the parts are very hard to sell, as well, have a pair of 71-76 doors, including a spirit of america with sport mirror, a few fenders, and a 71 four door parts car that have been sitting in the classifieds for several years now. the yard here had several cleaner examples, including a pair of two doors, but seemed to be in a great hurry to crush them then for the weight.
We have a divorced (not integrated into the forums) Classified section. You will find the button on the top bar between the Forum button and the Showroom button.
