Hello, I just had a few questions. For my 66, I was thinking of putting a 350 in it. I know 96-20?? Was EFI. Minus that, what kind of changes were made between the generation before and that other generation. I believe the 96-early 2000s were the last of production and they had vortec.

Just haven't found any information on the two.

1986 - 1pc rear main seal
1987 - roller tip rockers and valve-cover bolts
199? - vortec heads AND re-designed water pump block mount

they also went to serpentine belt design
IIRC the last SBCs were 1999 in the Suburban, after that it all went LS

Ok. I know in 96 or 97, they switched to Vortec. Which was a roller cam. But couldn't find a ton other wise. I appreciate the information
