I just installed a 4L60 into my 1966 Impala to replace the original Power Glide. I moved the cross member, shortened the driveshaft, converted the VSS to analog speedo, and, adjusted the kick down. All I have left is to connect the back up lights so when I shift into reverse the back up lights come on. Can anyone help with where the connections on the tranny might be to accomplish this might be or do I need to so something else. Thanks.

Welcome to the Team Steve!

The switch is under the dash at the base of the steering column. It is attached to a tab the sticks up and is connected to the shifter linkage. The screws that mount it go into slotted holes for adjustment.

Did the 4l60 fit under the car fine or did you have to modify your floor boards? Did you have any problems with the shifter location?
