Was the light for the automatic column shift indicator on 63 an accessory to be bought separately? I’ve read such was the case on 59-60 us made cars but I’m starting to think it was probably the same on 63.

Mine doesn’t have any thing electrical in the socket where the bulb would go.

I believe it was standard equipment in '63.
