Hello all. I am in need of new backing plates. I have a 12 bolt i was told was from a 67SS. I am finding the plates however the 4 mounting holes are a little offset. The flange on the axel has the 4 holes at a square. I found plates at The Parts Place and called them. They pulled a plate and the mounting holes are in fact offset. Where can i purchase the correct plates. The casting #s on my axel are FP0116C and 3894860 the best i can tell. Can someone please send me the info i need to purchase new backing plates. I have exhausted my brain doing internet search. Thanks

Ok guys. Only one question. Where the hell can i get new backing plates for rear drums on a 66 ? I have countless hours in research and NOBODY has the correct plate. I will go with used ones if someone is close to Midwestern Ohio

Ok, too bad. I'm in Canada. I suspect I know a guy here with some but that's certainly not an option. Would you like me to check my books and see how many years and what vehicles interchange?
