67 Caprice converted to floor shift

I had my 1967 Caprice 327/turbo 400 converted to floor shift.
How can I remove the shift indicator from the dash?
Is it a small piece, or does a larger section of the dash have to be removed?

We need more detail on what you are trying to accomplish, as in '67, the Indicator is on the steering column.
