I have a 67 Impala with a 327 short block and I found a rebuilt 327 long block, will it still fit? I don't see why it wouldn't but I wanted to double check before I bought it.

Yes it will fit. A long block is the block and rotating assembly with heads attached which differes from the short block that doesn't have the heads attached making it shorter. The SBC didn't come from the factory with a tall and a short deck height the way a big block Chevy does. Not all long blocks include cam and lifters but some do so check on that part (also see if it includes the timing cover and dapmer). No short block comes with cam and lifters as the lifters would fall out.
