All,
BLUF: Is it possible that I may have a c10/350 linkage on my Powerglide???

Set Up:
1968 Impala Custom Coupe
307 (numbers matching)
Powerglide

I recently swapped in a 350, and during reassembly of the transmission linkage I became confused by what was in the service manual and what I have on my car.
It appears I have a spindle on the frame, which supports a linkage traversing from the frame to the transmission, after a bit of web crawling it appears the linkage is for
part# 17191 "Truck AT Column Shifter Linkage".

I can't figure out why this would be on my Impala, can someone who is knowledgeable please assist? Thanks!

Anything is possible, but does it work? If not, I would try to verify the part being wrong by trying to find some pictures online of the correct part you need.

Thanks for replying Bill,
It worked fine prior to disassembly, and planned to replace worn/rusted parts (cotter pins, spring and retainers, etc.), but now I am unsure of the exact parts/numbers. I am only going off of what these little bits look like, since they are not listed in the service manual.

I'll order what they look like and hope it works...wish me luck!
