Anyone running Body color painted steel wheels with poverty caps on their 60s impala?

I think I may....

Some ideas...

I know it's not an impala

and a dodge

Currently have some aluminum 17" wheels I'm not a fan of these. I think the painted wheel with the cap looks cool.

Wheels

If the car was ordered with full wheel covers or any of the optional wheel covers the rims were black, poverty covers wheels were body color.

So I bought 2 of the Steel 15x8 wheels (paint them later) and a Milestar Streetsteel ($102 shipped) 245-60R15 tire.

Had it mounted and I bolted it on to check fitment to see if I want them on all 4 corners.. not sure I want staggered

It's about 26" tall and about 9.5" wide. No issues fitting on my 66 Impala but I may want a tire that's a little wider.

other brand 255/60s have around the same spec...

I wonder if this will fit in the front?

I ended up with 15x8 (4.25"bs) on all 4 with a MILESTAR STREETSTEEL P245/60R15 tire,at $102 each.

I know they are not BFGs or Coopers, but for the price I thought I try them out. I like the look of the tread pattern.

Tire looks great. I'm just curious where they're made.

They look great. I want to try painting my existing stock wheels but I'm not sure if I could do a decent job. I also have upcoming chrome wheels that I ordered from 4WheelOnline so I'll be busy with other wheel and tire installation.
