Hi All,
Just completed an almost complete new front suspension & brake update on my 68 Impala that I've owned since 1986. New upper/lower control arms, springs, tie rod ends etc. While I was there, decided to replace front brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders & hoses.
My issue is that the brake pedal goes to the floor. I've bled the front brakes quite a bit & adjusted the shoes. Still the pedal goes to the floor. Any ideas? Thx in advance!!

Did you bleed the rear brakes as well?

I'm with Bill, I would probably bleed all 4. Start with passenger-rear, then drivers rear, then pass-front, then drivers front.

Also have to ask, are you not seeing any wetness at any of the new hose connections? Did you happen to replace the master cylinder?

And before you bleed anything at the wheels, bench bleed (on car is ok, just make some bleed lines to go back in the reservoirs) the master. THEN, bleed all the wheels. If there is no pedal after... replace the master.
