Gentlemen, I just bought a 65 Impala and it is currently running 17” steelies.

I want to run staggered Ridler 695 wheels. I’d like to have an 18x8 on the front and a 20x10 on the rear.

It’s currently lowered 2”.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible without modifying the car? I don’t want to “make” them fit.

There are two 'fits' to check for the tire/wheel combo. The one while the car is rolling, and the one with it jacked up for tire/wheel replacement (putting on the spare). The rear suspension 'drops' as the car is jacked from the frame. It is possible for a tire/wheel to 'roll' but not be able to be removed.

Just for jollies, see if the current tire/wheel can be removed when the car is jacked up. I'm not saying it won't, just suggesting finding out when one doesn't need to change a flat. In the process you may see what kind of room you have to work with.

I can't answer your specific question.
