Disc brake question

Purchased my 62 lmpala less than a year and it already came with disc brakes front and rear , I noticed that I have to apply firm pressure in order for car to stop, I replaced all the brake pads and bled the brakes but still the same . My pedal does not go all the way down . Goes about half way my only problem is the brakes don’t grab and I have to apply the brakes kind of hard , I don’t know what brand kit this is, any input?

Yep, you want no bubbles. If they're very small, the fitting isn't screwed in tight enough on that rear outlet & the air is being drawn in when you release and then pumped out when you compress. You've also got to be very careful with those plastic screws, so tighten a little and then compress a few more times but when you release, release very very slowly, that will help stop air being drawn back in.
After pumping about 40 times i was able to get the air out . I I stalled everything including a new brake proportioning vale also the bleed kit you recommended. Bleed the brakes and now the brake pedal goes down quick then stops about 2 inches before it hits the bottom. When I was bleeding the brakes fluid wasn’t squirting out fast like other cars I bleed , I’m replacing master cylinder and booster, I did a vacuum test and it came out good
One thing I noticed after watching some videos on YouTube is that on my proportioning valve towards the front there are two holes top which I have a line going to front calipers and bottom hole is plugged, and from what I learned on the videos is that top line goes to passenger side caliper and bottom line goes to drivers side caliper , could this be a problem with my brakes ?
Yep, I was gonna ask about that, then I didn't because I assumed the 2nd brake line was just in the darkness of your pic below the valve. Yes, if they've connected both front brake lines to only one prop valve outlet then you're only getting half the brake line pressure to the front calipers that you should be getting.

How much manifold vacuum do you have. My aftermarket disc brakes need a minimum of 14 -15 in. I only make 12-13 in. Which gave me a hard pedal needing a lot of force. I ended up installing a vacuum pump which solved the problem.
Sorry this took so long. I installed a Rotary Vacuum Pump from Force 10 Brakes model #28146-3.

I replaced the master cylinder and booster bought one from summit it’s a chrome Leed MS and Booster, seems to be working pretty good , thanks everyone
