Engine shutting dowm

Well your biggest problem right now is you came to a classic car forum seeking advice on a modern Impala... not meaning to be crass, but did you look at the forum at all before posting?

You'd be better served on a forum for modern impalas or other GM vehicles that share the powertrain.

Here you go. This is a good site for the newer Impala cars.

But if you ever buy a classic, be sure to drop back.
