What years of Impalas frames are interchangeable with a 1966?

Example: Will a 1965 frame fit 1966?

I believe the 1965 Impala frame is the same. The 1965 Caprice frame is a unique piece. But finding the frame from a 1965 caprice would be quite rare anyway. They were all 4 door sport sedans and quite limited in production.

your frame was also used in 1965 and according to my Hollander manual is the same regardless of 2dr or 4dr (except for convertibles). even then I suspect you could use a convertible frame since the only difference typically is a fully boxed frame.
