just saw this on the Classic Industries website

is this right about the differences between the standard and the SS? (standard has cove lights while SS has stamped metal cove inserts)
my 67 convertible non-SS w/283 and PG has the stamped metal inserts and not the lights

that's kind of what I thought. I've had mine for 30 yrs and I doubt it was in a wreck where the front clip was replaced so...

I do have the non-SS hubcaps and they use the same similar blackout scheme for the spokes and an SS center insert that is convex for the non-SS center insert that is concave

I can tell you the differences there.
1) the center plastic insert is convex vs concave
2) the SS insert actually says SS, the non-SS is plain with just some trim around the edges
3) the metal of the hubcap itself has similar blackout markings like the grille

if I find 2 of my caps together I'll post a pic. might be awhile, though, since it is Final Exam week
