Looking at cleaning up the fuel lines and ditching the sections of rubber fuel lines
pieced on after the engine swap 24 years ago.
I went with an Edelbrock performer 650 cfm carb. Was wondering what type of fuel line
others with Edelbrock carbs are using from carb to pump. The car has a small block V8 crate engine.

I made my own on my 71 where I used an Edelbrock 1405. Patterned the line out of a coat hanger, then duplicated the bends on hard line by hand and a brake rotor. A rotor is a great tubing bender. You get the big radius around the outside, medium on the hat, small on hub, and you use the lugs to hold line as you do tight bends. I cut in an inline filter up near the carb, too.

How did you fasten the line to the carb ?
Did you clear the heater hose at the front of the intake?

Last time a Carter AFB was used on a SBC was on the 1963-65 Corvette. You can buy a new line prebent here:

https://www.licorvette.com/fuel_line_set_corvette.htm

and it shows what the line looked like.

Keep in mind there are more Corvette reproduction parts than for the full size Chevy even though from 1963 up to 1970 the Corvette was just a two seat full size car with a plastic body covering the bob tailed frame Most parts interchange.

Looking for a 5/16 inverted flare (female) 5/8 20 (male) fitting in order to connect a 5/16 steel line to my 1406 Edelbrock carb.

Weatherhead brass fitting cabinet at NAPA. They may not let you see all of the gleaming yellow brass fittings looking like a prop from Indiana Jones as pilfering really eats into their profit margin; but the counter person can find what you need.

Checked...Nada. Edelbrock sure doesn't make it easy to plumb steel lines onto their carbs
