Hi all. I am starting to tackle re-doing all the weatherstripping on my '65. Going ok so far, but ran into a snag with the vent window weatherstripping. Seems like the angle portion is held in place by 4 spring clips. (see pic). I can't seem to find replacements anywhere, and the reproduction weatherstripping is just bit "fatter" at the clip locations so I don't think I could get the old ones to fit anyway. I tried to ben one, but it is rusty spring steel and just broke.
Anybody have any leads on replacement clips (4)? If not, would there be any issue gluing the 'strip into the channel
as opposed to the mechanical connectors? Thanks!

your question is not so clear. There are two parts to a vent window. The part the swings and the part that is the car body or door frame. I guess you want clips for the body frame rubber. When i did my '60 there were clips like yours under the original window rubber channels. The new channels where a better fit and didn't need the clips. That may be similar to your '64 and is why the rubber is fatter at the clip location.

Thanks for the info, WA. On my '65 the clips go into the forward part of the vent window assembly that goes next to the windshield pillar post. After fighting with the first set of w/s I ordered, I returned them and purchased another set from Steele Rubber here in NC (at 4x the price!). They fit perfectly and I was able to re-use my existing clips, so all is good. Where the clip was broken, I just used some w/s adhesive on that spot. I think the original w/s I ordered was just a poor quality. reproduction. There seems to be a lot of that out there!

Steel Rubber seem to be the people to get good stuff from. USA made instead of foreign copies that don't fit well. I have had to do over too much due to poor quality. As a DIY guy I wish there was a kind of Angies list on who to buy from. Glad you got it on the right path. Vent windows are great!
