Hi. So after a very long time. Probably 5 years or more I am getting back to work on my 66 Belair. Being that long I have forgotten certain things. Lol. So the three wires here. I know the red goes to the relay. Do the black and green go on as well. are they for the horns. I had installed a new harness from M H electric. Had them build for HEI ignition and an internal voltage regulator.
I need a new relay. Who should I get one from.
If anyone has a photo of how theirs looks that would be great.
I also should add. Does it matter what terminal on the relay that I connect
the red wire to.

thanks.

Horn relay info is pretty scant. Only a few photos appear in that search including your own. Perhaps you can use the photo of the 66 Chevelle as a guide along with any more information you can acquire from the Database available Here including the 66 wiring diagram. YES, terminals do matter.

There should be many vendors you can purchase from, but bear in mind this sort of product is usually manufactured in China these days & they've essentially been & still are relatively shut hence the common excuse of "supply chain constraints" which decoded means it's made in China & we've run out of stock. So you may have to spend some time researching & comparing. Having said that it appears Rock Auto currently have stock available, I haven't checked elsewhere. Good luck.
