Most want a two door hard top (usually an SS since only with that option did you get you bucket seats). It is unusual to desire a four door hard top, so the car should be cheaper to buy than the two door version, but finding a good one is always a chalenge.

though I must say... sounds like you want the car from Supernatural.
All you need is a couple of spot lights.
I personally love that body style and it looks awesome.

As far as availability and cheaper...
Maybe not, just because of the association with the TV show.

If a 4 door is what you want, by all means... Get One!

Id suggest you start looking East of the Mississippi.

Two door hard tops are easier to find, so a four-door (especially a hardtop) will be harder to find and sometimes more expensive, in decent condition.

Guess Bob´s right! Thanks to the show the prices have rocketed!
I alwas loved the late 60s Impala 4 doors and nearly bought a 68 myself (has to be without door post though!)
