I wish to install the Prestone Back-Flush system in the Impala 2000 3.8L. There are two hoses that come out of the firewall. They separately go into what looks like the same metal piece directly behind/under the alternator. Facing the firewall, one hose is connected a little lower directly behind the left of the alternatorl; the other hose connects towards the right just behind the alternator. Which one of these hoses is the "heater inlet hose" to attach the back-flush system? Thanks in advance for your help!

Bigger diameter hose is usually the return line with the smaller being the supply. Problem I see is the heater is vacuum controled and has a bypass valve in line to redirect the coolant flow so your car cabin doesn't get hot with A/C on and heater off.
