Need Help ID'ing Wiring & Connectors ... Thanks!

Was hoping I could get some help ID'ing the wiring and connectors under the hood of my 1968 Bel Air station wagon. I have the 1968 Factory Service Manual with the wiring diagrams, but I'm still struggling. The connector on the left and the middle connector share an orange wire. The connector on the right appears to go into a bracket or sheetmetal, but damned if I can see where...

The car didn't have a motor when I got it (still doesn't) and it looks like some of the motor wiring had been cut rather than disconnected.

These are guesses but here goes-

Left side looks like one I've seen on some horn relays and the horn relay is often in the area behind the left headlights.

Middle looks like an aftermarket part, don't recall seeing that in a 60's GM.

Right side looks like park lamp/turn signal maybe.

I agree except the for the right side. I was thinking ignition wiring going to starter with the Pink going to the start on the solenoid and Green to coil's + side.

Only way to know is to consult the Wiring Diagram for your year car.Factory included this in the Chassis Service manual but also put out as a separate ten to fourteen page full size fold out manual like this one for quick reference (and it balanced much better on a fender than the big book):

The solenoid wire is normally heavier gauge and purple. Also, this is on the wrong side of the car and I'm not sure why the solenoid wire would need a rubber grommet.

I'm going to order the wiring diagram booklet...

I have posted a photo of the starter solenoid wiring loom...#12 Purple (PPL) is the starter solenoid, #16 Dark Blue (DBL) is the oil pressure sensor, #14 Orange (OR) is the heater blower...the white cloth covered #16? wire is unknown to me and I'm still trying to locate its whereabouts on a wiring diagram.

I'm going to hold out for the wiring diagram, but I'm thinking all of the connectors in my original post are not original equipment...

I’ve completely retired my 68 fastback and do not recognize any of those connections the one on the right has a familiar grommet like it goes down through the inner fender toward the marker light/turn signal. Is it possible you car had cruise control or some special option?

The one on the right looks like the backup light wiring that goes to the switch on the transmission side cover. Is there a hole in the firewall near the gas pedal that the grommet would fit in? If so, post a pic of that hole please. I’m doing a 4spd conversion and need to drill the hole. Thanks
