How’s it going everyone? I have a 62 impala and I’m have a shacking vibration when I’m on the freeway. After replacing a lot of parts , I jacked the rear up and put the gear on drive and noticed my driver side wheel is wobbly. I removed the wheels and I put it on drive again and the rotor was wobbly so down to the point I want to say the axles might be bent, the passenger side wobbles a little. Any good place do buy some new axles?

I believe new axles are available but maybe only racing type, which will probably be a little pricey, unless that is what you may want to use anyway. Otherwise, good used would do.

Would be interesting to see a video of what you are seeing. I was thinking it would be REALLY hard to bend an axle unless that car was either in a bad accident or had a mondo engine and slicks at one time. (IMO)

Might be worth checking the mounting points of the rear-end, both ends of the control arms, worn/missing bushings, any loose bolts, etc. maybe check for bearing slop by trying to man-handle the assembly on your own? Hopefully nothing terribly wrong in the 'pumpkin' area to cause the issue.

if the axel housing is steady and the axel is wobbly you would have a problem that would destroy the bearings and seals and oil would be pouring out. I don't think so. In your statement you say the rotors are wobbly. So the drums have been replaced with disk brakes? I bet cheap Chinese stuff that is causing your wheel wobble.

I noticed their web site does not have prices.

I'm wondering what they go for?

Wow, you are a fast worker ? March 12 first post about wobble then march 13 you inquire about axles and then march 16 you say you're done & new axles fixed problem. That's some fast fixin good job ;)
Just 1 question so I know howed you get the parts so fast ?
I’m the type of person that if there is an issue with my cars I won’t be able to sleep at night until I figure out the issue. The axles I bought locally from a differential shop , good thing he had them in stock.
