I wouldn't risk it. Even if everything bolts up, that doesn't mean your steering linkage will have the correct geometry.

You're better off buying year specific components. Even then there are some "works with application" parts that may not be quite right. Also keep an eye out on Ebay for NOS parts if you want to be certain it's correct.

No, linkage changed in 67. So 65-66 will, 67-70 is different but will work if idler arm bracket is welded to frame. 71-78 no.


I have parts left over from my 66 when I converted to a 67 setup if interested....have the idler arm too.. all pretty new.. less than 1000 miles.
