3 months into my ownership of my 64 I am happy to report its a solid car and I have found very little mechanical issues.

A while ago I did post about needing to replace my power steering cylinder and hoses and proposed if it was worth upgrading or replacing with OEM. Seemed the consensus was to replace with OEM.

Since that post, I have realized that my steering shaft is also need of replacement.

I eventually intend to add an air bag suspension to this car so now I am curious if I already need to replace these components and will be really focused on the overall ride of the car, should I be looking at upgrades or still stick to OEM parts?
